Dorothy MANKEY - Co-founder, CEO

I am passionate about helping people flourish in their work. Today’s workplace requires a high degree of collaboration, innovation, and critical thinking skills. Making is a great way to learn those skills and many others. In my ‘day job’ I teach HR professionals how to use Design Thinking to improve the employee experience, and I teach entrepreneurs how to hire and develop awesome teams. A native Austinite, I grew up actively involved in community building and making a positive impact in Austin.

Dylan Mankey - co-founder, CTO

I’m passionate about trying. Trying new things, trying something you’ve failed at before, trying to understand different perspectives and viewpoints. And I’m passionate about teaching others to try, and not to fear failure, but learn from it and try again. I’m also a native Austinite. I’ve watched this city grow and change over the last 30 years and I’m passionate about bringing a little bit of the weird back to the ‘hood.
